About the Artist

“I like to think of my work as trying to capture the emotional landscape. I am not as interested in what is literally there as much as what is felt. I believe when human beings connect with the landscape there is an emotional memory of what it was like to be there that compels them to want to capture or contain it. As if there were metaphors of life held in branches, cloud wisps and water. For me, the window into the spiritual is nature. It seems to be the image that I am invited to pass through into something much richer, deeper and full of beauty.”
